The Laila Chanel team of wedding photographers is comprised of the most talented and sought-after individuals in the DMV. Michelle Harris, founder and head photographer, has personally hand-selected each member of her team after an exhaustive process of analyzing hundreds of photographers.

Each Laila Chanel photographer undergoes rigorous training under Michelle's guidance, learning not only advanced photography skills but also how to interact with clients, plan events, shoot engagements sessions, work as part of a team or solo based on event needs, execute day-of tasks flawlessly under pressure, and follow up post-event. The result is a team of wedding photographers who are dedicated to elegantly and perfectly telling your story through magazine-worthy images.

When it comes to your wedding day, Laila Chanel photographers take the responsibility very seriously. Weddings are meant to be one of the most important days in your life and you should not take your experience lightly. You are assigned the best photographer based on style and skill set so that you have the best possible experience.

Their process

1. Inquire - They want to make sure that you’re the perfect fit for your day with a brief yet thorough phone call. You will chat about the details of their process and answer all of your questions!
2. Save Your Date - Once you’ve decided they are the team to perfectly capture your day, they will send you an all inclusive proposal! This online proposal will make it super easy for you to review and electronically sign the contract, and pay the retainer to save your wedding date!
3. Engagement Session - Engagement sessions are an hour long and you will receive the portraits in an online gallery within two weeks of the session date! You can download and print as you wish without usage restrictions like some photographers.
4. Wedding Questionnaire - 2-3 weeks prior to your wedding, they will send you an electronic questionnaire so they have all of your wedding details to hand to the photographers for your day!
5. Wedding Day - The team will be prompt, professional, and take care of you on your day. Capturing all the moments in a magazine worthy fashion and once the day is done they will be delivered to Michelle for Editing! The final gallery will be delivered in around 4 weeks!
6. Album Design - If you added on the option of a professionally designed wedding album, Michelle will ask you to select your favorite 100 photos from your day and she will design and ship your album directly to you within 2 weeks of the photo selection!
