Michelle Harris is a nationally acclaimed wedding photographer and the principal owner of Laila Chanel Studios. Named after Michelle's oldest daughter, Laila Chanel Studios is a luxury wedding photography studio that doesn't break the bank.

In addition to her work as a photographer, Michelle is also the founder of Hustle in Heels, a female-focused wedding photography conference designed to help develop successful female entrepreneurs. Michelle has the distinction of being the first black female ambassador for Sigma Cameras & Lenses as well as being sought out to speak at national wedding photography conferences such as WPPI 2023 and perennially at Showit United.

Michelle was recently recognized as their '22 Creator of the Year by Rangefinder Magazine. How does Rangefinder decide on who it names as Creator of the Year? “We choose photographers and creators who are not only incredibly hard working and talented but who also create opportunities for up-and-coming photographers, and lifts up the photo community with education,” says editor-in-chief Jacqueline Tobin.
